Has anyone tried the 3 cap accessory (can't get a grip on the nomenclature,I have one buried in the boxes somewhere) that is made of (3) 25 mmf (I think) air dielectric caps on a mounting plate? These have push type binding posts to ease configuration when changing frequencies. This was used of course with a low impedance aircraft wire antenna, not a 50 ohm impedance type.

Fixed shunt capacitors are used by many people and a broad range of
alues all seem to give satisfactory results. In ER#7, Nov. 1989,
alt Hutchens (KJ4KV) recommended 800 Mmf for 75M and 100Mmf for 40
nd 20M. In ER#30, Oct. 1991, Bill Kleronomos (KD0HG) reported 560
mf as being "ideal" for 160, 80 and 40M and 100MMf for 30, 20 and
7M. Don't remember exactly what values I finally settled on (caps
idden behind a panel) but use a single value for 75 & 40 and
omething larger for 160. Tribute, I guess, to the broad range of
ariability built into in the ART-13 tank circuit.
Detailed breakout schematic of the ART-13's tank circuit in all it's
witchable variations available on request.

What are you opinions on the best means of matching
an un-hacked ART-13 to a 50-ohm antenna?
