[ARC5] BFO Woes, How do I fix

Jerry,
Grounding the CW osc. shut-off line turns the BFO OFF, not ON. This
line was originally connected to pin 5 on the front connector and pin
4 on the rear socket. Don't know off the top of my head what color
the wire might have been but for a first step leave the two stray
wires you mentioned floating and then check to see if you have B+ at
the plate of the BFO tube (pin 6 on V7). If so, check with a scope,
if you have one, to see if you have any RF on pin 6 and, if so, try
adjusting the BFO coil to get a beat .
