I hear what you say Bill but are not these new owners of the  Heathkit 
material being just a little pig headed. After all, there's nothing  
fantastically great about the Heath designs, and all the sets are long out of  
production. 
 
People are not trying to get manuals to steal the technology  or even to 
profit from them, but just to repair and keep going the old tat  working. 
 
Why anyone would want to buy the 'rights' to such stuff beats  me, and if 
they do then they should be grateful that folk like us keep that name  going. 
 
They cannot hope to make any real money by restricting access  and selling 
odd copies of DX60 and HR10 circuits when, as you say, we can all  get them 
via other users anyway. 
 
Very odd and very pathetic on their part I feel.
