Wonder if it is then possible to get a dip with an encased xtal placed with
a large-suface side flush against the top of the GDO coil.
Suppose the thickess of the metal or plastic enclosure plus the air gap
distance might prevent this and/or the metal enclosure might decouple.But
we can always test it out.
