Oh, yes, yes, yes. Must break old tubes. It's like swapping out
those icky old parts from icky old radios and replacing them with nice
modern parts, and using command sets as junk box fillers while the
chasses become other things - like two of them to build up separate
audio amps for a stereo system using VT-25s - and them only because
VT-4Cs won't fit. :-D
Actually, being serious for a rare moment, a few places sell the UX
type plugs though they're not always easy to find. Octals are a lot
easier - even the e-place has them for relatively cheap.
