Yes, sorry Mike.  I realized after posting that my statement had a flavor that
was actually *not* intended.  In fact, I love seeing developmental sets and
learning a little about the manner in which the engineering was carried out.
I find the A.R.C. Type K photos and system diagram on your web site extremely
interesting, and also your 1930s section, for some reason much more than the
VHF stuff.

But I'm not interested in collecting them.  If I were given some almost
unique set from the engineering labs of, say, Collins, A.R.C., GE, Bendix, etc.,
I would try to find a more appropriate owner.

I like to read about all aspects of radio set development, though I only seek
to collect sets which were actually ultimately issued.  I suspect that some of 
the mystery sets that I mentioned (SCR-238, 240/261, 260, 274-A, etc.)
are in the same category as the R-112 and T-89, yet I would really love to
be able to find details about them.  Manuals would be wonderful.  Often,
having a manual is better than having (without manual) the set it covers,
as far being an educational experience.
