Always possible, but if so, ARC certainly made a lot of them.  I picked 
up a box of half dozen or so, all in foil sealed pouches with 1960's 
date codes like the one in the auction, for $5 at  hamfest near 
Baltimore years ago.  Gave most if not all of them away as gifts. They 
/are/ handy for the test bench or whatever.
