I don't believe anything was built as an ARA-1 since it was an ARA
built by Stromberg Carlson and was folded into the A.R.C. built ones
so they came under a single nomenclature. The ARA-2 was a 12 volt
version which had little application so was never built in any
quantity. To the best of my leaky knowledge, only the two navigation
receivers were built as ARA-2 equipment.
