Hello All,

Being kind of new to collecting the Command Set Equipment.
Is there a list of articles that appeared in magazines
such as CQ, QST, ETC. that were written before my time on such equipment?

Welcome to our gentle affliction!
In general- unless it was written by Gordon White, it's best to
look at any "ham magazine" articles about Command Sets
(and especially those "Conversion Manuals" ) as "curiosities."
Most of them are ill-informed, ill-advised and destructive of radios
that have moved from "ham toy" status to "historic artifact."
There are exceptions, but it's a good "rule of thumb."

That said- you've found the best resource for your new interest
in this community; there are some excellent people here,
both in their knowledge and personally.
