I just looked at the CCT-46145 broadcast band unit that I used on 12V
in 1960 or so. All I did was plug in 6V tubes (6V6 for the 12A6) and
moved one LV dynamotor brush 90 degrees - gave around 160V as I
recall. I am very glad I didn't make any receiver wiring changes and
also that I saved that receiver all these years... Do the ARC-5 sets
require wiring changes to use 6V tubes?
