OK Brian

Think Bob Macklin answered with ohm's law.  ~3500 ohms & that's
right number for modulator match, ie the load resistance.

W7QHO gave a a series of rules of thumb for match to a tank ckt.
These had tube conduction angles rolled in.  IE, they
gave the plate impedance for operation classes

English sure open for criticism.  Eg:

     red:  the color
     read: finished reading
