Oh, yes! Something just clicked - not airborne but still Navy, small
and similar to the shape factor of the ARB: The RBS or RBM.

The RBM is a 2 receiver system (goes with the TBW transmitter), both
identical in looks, one covers 200 KHz - 2 MHz and the other 2 MHz to
16 MHz. The RBS is the stand-alone 2-16 MHz receiver usually mounted
on the bridge for traffic monitoring.
