The antenna relay inside the transmitter just attached the selected
transmitter to the antenna.  It was in parallel with the transmitter select
relay.  The relay in the Antenna Relay box was the T/R antenna switch.

Also, I want to make sure you know that the BC-442 antenna relay
WAS keyed. The antenna relay mounted inside the transmitter may
not have been.
