Yes I am well aware of the requirements, but my use is for private
listening, not flying, which does not require approval and I have the
appropriate crystals. I do not have an aircraft and if I did I would not be
using this receiver. The US spacing is 0.025 MHz or 25 kHz, not 0.25 as
you indicated. In Europe the spacing is 8.33 kHz.
