Hank Brown and I both had an AN/ARC-3 setup at the 2005
MRCG, and had a two way, distance about 15 feet. Frequency
somewhere around 144.4. Found a crystal that put the receiver
on one of the SLO airport frequencies and let it play.

Collecting and making it work was fun, but here in Reno,
no one to talk to on 2M AM. Only thing I hear up here around
144.4 is packet activity.
