[ARC5] Version A ATA Components??

I recently ran across several of the military equipment lists on the web that contain the following entries under the ATA, in addition to standard items:

CBY-50141 Modulator, Version A
CBY-52305 Transmitter, Version A, 2.1-3.0MHz
CBY-52306 Transmitter, Version A, 3.0-4.0MHz
CBY-52307 Transmitter, Version A, 4.0-5.3MHz
CBY-52308 Transmitter, Version A, 5.3-7.0MHz
CBY-52309 Transmitter, Version A, 7.0-9.1MHz

I've never seen any documentation of such items.  Are these real, and if so, does anyone have any information about how these compare to the standard ATA equivalents?
