T-16/ARC-5.
Hi Gang, I thought that might make you all sit up, well, the story behind it
is I have two and one had to go, the other is NIB so this one was the
obvious choice, maybe I should put a reserve thinking about it, then again I
might just leave it in the lap of the Gods. I have the T-17 as well but only
one, and yes, I was pipped to the post on the T-15 a few years ago, never
mind it went to a good home I'm sure. I agree ebay has made it possible for
me to collect all my arc-5 and others, I have a gleaming brand new ART-13,
BC-348 and NIB complete set BC-375 courtesy of ebay, I cannot remember how
much I paid but if it was a lot of money for the items compare how much
phoning, petrol, airtransport costs etc it would have cost me looking for
them any other way. Anyway I use these radios on air on a regular basis, so
what price enjoyment. Talking of which, there are some regular
trans-Atlantic (USA / UK / Netherlands) AM qso's going on around 0500GMT
onwards on 3705kcs, If you have 100w AM or more please give it a go, maybe
you will be lucky. 73 Max / M0GHQ
