The bandswitch cable is not the same as the larger Bendix style flexible 
drive cable.  It is the same tuning cable as on the later ATA/274N/ARC-5 
sets (as well as having the same threaded fittings as used on the 
command sets), but as Robert stated, it has a square drive ferrule 
crimped on the end rather than splined.  Photo at

right, just beneath the tuning control and at the upper right corner of 
the AN/ARC-2.
