I sorta doubt it, Gordon.  This was a design aspect with *all* aircraft 
radios, and extensive nomographs were made to assist radio manufacturers 
in understanding how the airplane fuselage affected antenna design and 
resulting interface criteria.  One of them I posted on my website -
