They are all of the same diameter and all can be interchanged. The ARA and SCR-274-N dials are essentially identical. In comparison, the AN/ARC-5 dials have a greater sloping surface with the dial calibrations, and a smaller diameter flat center section. The AN/ARC-5 dials also have much wider, larger, and more legible dial markings, and do not have "MC" or "KC" inscribed thrice within a circle near the center of the dial. The AN/ARC-5 dials for the beacon band receiver are calibrated in "MC" but the equivalent dials for the ARA and SCR-274-N are calibrated in "KC."

The SCR-274-N and AN/ARC-5 dials have official component names, but I've never seen any that were actually marked with them:

  Receiver SCR-274-N AN/ARC-5
.19 to .55 MC MC-212 ID-25/ARC-5
.52 to 1.5 MC MC-415 ID-26/ARC-5
1.5 to 3.0 MC NA ID-27/ARC-5
3.0 to 6.0 MC MC-213 ID-28/ARC-5
6.0 to 9.1 MC MC-214 ID-29/ARC-5
