I will have to re-build my ARB - ZB - DU setup to accommodate covers 
for the gear since you can't put an ARB cover on with the ZB mounted on 
top. Now, I'm desiring a DU cover and a LM (just the LM with shock 
mount) cover.If there were some covers for some gear,there were 
probably covers for all the gear,at least for fighters and 
torpedo/bombers for carrier ops.

I was just the other nite looking at some photos of mine, and i saw this
Navy press release photo of the radio op in a PBY - you have seen this
photo, the guy is young, of course, slender and has a goatee beard.
Not everything is visible, of course, but you can see the RU at the 
left,
the LM in the middle, and the ARB to the right. The ARB is provided with
that 90 degree local tuning knob adapter. What i hadn't noticed before 
is
that the ARB has the cover on it, opened at front, unbuttoned. None of
the other gear has a cover on. -Hue Miller
