Hi All,
I've almost completed the "VHF local rag chewer" as described in Mike
Tauson's "A Users Guide to Aircraft Radio Corporation Receivers".
No hacks,no mods!I'm just waiting for a few things from Fair Radio to
finish it off.
Question 1: Is there a dedicated 2M AM frequency generally accepted for
use by such radios as AN/ARC1,AN/ARC-3,AN/ARC-4,AN/ARC-5(VHF),A.R.C.
Type 12,SCR-522,etc, such that original crystals can be used?
Question 2:What is an acceptable method for lubricating a mechanical
tuning cable?A few drops of oil on one end and hang it up 'till it
drips out the other end?
 Thanks,
            Jay KE6PPF
