The MARS station at Ft. Devens Mass. ran a SCR 522 and R-390A/converter on 2 
meter AM all the time. AA1KBO/K1KBO
Alot of activity in the Western Massachusett area too. Around 1965 - 67.
K1KBO was the New England version of K2USA.
