In a "collector's guidebook" of non-US
1930-1945 military aircraft radios,
what equipments are "must include" in such
a guide, and how common is it to find an unmodified example?
I define the rarity of examples of
-unmodified- radios (using US examples) thus:

"Extinct:" No examples of this set are know to have survived.

"Unique:" Prototypes, "morgue" marked sets, others
of which there is only one example known to exist
in private hands.
 Example: "Circle-M" marked A.R.C. equipment,
A.R.C. type "K," some models of RAV receiver.

"Rare:" Ten or fewer of these model sets are
know to exist in private hands.
Example: RAT receivers.
(Note to Bill: while there are several RATs around,
there are less than ten of each receiver model known,
and that makes each model or accessory "rare.")

"Uncommon:" Dedicated search will uncover these sets,
but you can expect to find only 1 or 2 every few years.
Examples: BC-950, Third-generation ATA,
1st-run W.E. SCR-274N (1509-NY-41),
A.R.C. marked SCR-274N components.

"Common:" Sets that are easily acquired
with modest effort.
Examples: Most "silver" SCR-274N sets,
AN/ARC-3, most (not all) BC-348 sets.

Thanks for any help.
