At one time I thought the only "M" marked A.R.C. items
that existed were those I obtained from the company when it was closed
in Boonton, some of which I gave to the Smithsonian's Air & Space
Museum. I kept a few that were duplicates, but I have seen or heard of
enough others that I think some went to Aircraft Radio Industries Co. in
Connecticut, when A.R.C. cleared out things at the end of WW II. They
had to dispose of equipment built on government contracts to settle the
contract terminations, or otherwise "buy" the stuff. It is possible that
some went to the Navy or Air Corps for acceptance testing.

    I have 28 "M" - marked items.

The only ones with serial numbers are the RAV receivers and those are
done by hand, not stamped.
