Michael,

All Navy Contractor Codes begin with "C".  "NT-" means "Navy Type", and was 
used generically in manuals where several different contractors made parts or 
units with the same Navy Type Number.  I've also seen "Cxx-" used but can't 
recall where, other than in my own writings.
