  Well it looks like the dust is settling from the other recent postings so
I'll throw this out there.
I have written a paper that describes a problem I came across recently while
restoring a 274N set for
a special event station. The paper can be found at:

  Some of you may find it interesting. Please note that I am not implying
that everyone should run out and
modify their 274N sets. It's intention was meant more to inform than
anything else. Sort of a "just in case
you notice it too" sort of thing. One might consider it if a lot of CW work
was planned, but even then I'd suggest
it be done in such a way as to be easily undone.
