[ARC5] WWII Radar Fans?

I've got one of those old WE ground sets, just the big box itself. I
asked about it on the list a few years back, doesn't seem to be a very
hot item for anyone. Saw a similar unit on ebay recently, with an
opening bid of $95. No takers. Think it was a '406?

It's like new inside, looks like a big old green tool chest on the
outside with 4 bakelite sockets on top. Other than that I think the
only other thing I have is a big hardcover manual for one of the APS
systems, maybe the APS-4? Also one of those war axe-looking antennae
that probably fit inside the rudder of a bomber?

I'm having a hard enough time just locating ARC-5 piecesparts or the
rest of the ART-13 goodies like shockmounts and connectors. Like Bill,
I realize that even though I'm younger than some of the OTs who have
been at this for decades, I probably won't live long enough to indulge
all of the interesting systems. Not if I want to do them any real
justice.
