I have managed to get a near complete AN/APQ-13 cobbled together (still
need the modulator), but some of my pieces are in very poor
condition. Likewise with the SCR-720.

I rarely go after aircraft radar parts anymore, unless they are first
generation (SCR-519/520/521/540, ASA/ASC/ASD/AIA, and the like), simply
because there are not enough years in my life to complete every set I have
started. Anyone that thinks they can is a fool, once they figure out just
how hard it is to gather up all the pieces. Still, I am a sucker for
aircraft radar - just a little more restrained now.

I would say the aircraft radar sets I have managed to 100 percent complete
(AN/APS-3, /APS-4, /APN-1) have mostly been by accident. A few other sets
are REAL close, missing maybe only a manual or control box or antenna.

Please someone buy my extra AN/APS-4A.

I have also mostly stopped obtaining Naval radar gear, unless the sets in
question are "all gone". Of all WW2 radars, the Navy stuff survives the
best - look at what is on the museum ships. Many Navy sets, however, have
not been saved, so I still search for them (SP being probably on the top
of the list).

The ground radars are my hot button - almost none survived intact, very
few parts remain, other than the IFF sets.
