[ARC5] ARC-5 Rcvr AGC not working. Caps to replace?

Hello to all,
The AGC has gone kaput on my BC-946.  Local stations come blasting in, and the volume control has no effect.  For distant stations, I have to turn the volume control up to full.

Looking at the schematic, the AGC line is not clear to me.  It appears that capacitors C-6b and C-15b are the likely suspects.  Has anyone else had problems with no AGC?  Sure would appeciate any information on what you did to cure the problem.
