An ASTEC switcher 24 VDC supply.
Weighs about as much as a couple of dictionaries.
I have one of these and used it to run the W5E 274N set.
Ran two days without a whimper.
I would buy this one in a heartbeat,
but I don't want to be "greedy" when other people need supplies.
Dual 24 VDC 15 Amp switchers.  No RF noise from mine.
You can gang these two supplies together (I have the data files),
hang about 250000 uFd or more of surplus computer caps on it
to take the bigger dyno's start surge and it will run
the entire set without a blip.
Set both supplies for 24.0 VDC, then wire them together.
There's a "control" connector on the back of each
supply.  Hook pin 8 from both of them together;
this forces the supplies to load-share.
A real bargain for $29, IMHO.
There's a "triple" on as well, but the third
supply is for 5 VDC.  Would still work.
These seem to be coming on the market regularly,
so maybe we can get some rigs powered around here.
