Bill: I built and used the "Frank Jones Golden Gate Modulator" for years.
It was simple, cheap and worked well. Efficiency was not the best because
this was a screen modulator. Power supplies did not have to be so hefty.
(100 mA dynamotors were easier to find). Dont let anyone tell you that
you are nobody if you dont plate modulate !! Bah Humbug.
