I have a test set named I-84-B, contract 447-day-45-SE built by Western
Electric for the US ARMY. 7XX serial number. This is new condition.
Years ago i bought out the remaining command set test sets that ARC had
on hand. I have 2 of these remaining.

They apparently are made for wall mounting as they had a flat backplane
with holes for 4 screws. All metal box with 2 receptacles and 2 jacks
on the bottom, 1 for the command set 2 pin power plug and the other an 8
pin that goes to the equipment rack. There also 2 jacks 2 headsets.
Front panel has a 5 position switch, a switch for CW-off-MCW, a fuse and
a "increase vol" control. The meter is a Weston 1 MA, resistance 150
ohms model 301. The meter is ok but the frame around the meter is
broken. Inside and out are new condition.

This unit i would let go for $40. The other new unit in an original
factory box is $95. Consider shipping of close to 5 lbs from zip 85233
if your interested.

The SCR-274N manual shows an I-85-A (transmitter) and a I-84-A
(receiver)test boxes while the ARC-5 series uses a #7369 for receivers
and #9556 for transmitters. I've found nothing that describes the
I=84-B although the 8 pin connector on the bottom is for the interface
cable to the receiver rack. ANy help out there in this search is most
welcome.

#2: Interconnect cord with 2 different connectors. One is a
MS3106A16-11P 135Y, 2 pin male and the other end has a 3 pin female in a
right angle connector MS3108A10S1-3S. Thats the best i can read out of
it. This cameout of one of the aircraft down there but i have no idea
where or what for.
offers? Otherwise it goes in the trash barrel.
