[ARC5] Connectors, cables, and laquer

What was the usage of the connectors with and without the ferrules? Was one Army
and one Navy? My manual (AN-30ARC-5-2) only shows rubber jacketed cables with
connectors that have ferrules.

Does anyone know of a source for either the single conductor wire, or even the
correct type, and/or the shielded rubber cable to make up cables?

Finally, does anyone have a source for the colored Glyptal lacer used to lock
screws? Clear, dark red, and black are available in quart cans, but I need blue
and pink also.
