Todd,

I know of NO place on the web for that type of detailed AN/ARC-5
information. However, Phil, W5BVB ([email protected]) has a
TREMENDOUSLY good CD-ROM that has manual AN 16-30ARC5-2 on it. That is
the operation and maintenance handbook for the LF/MF/HF components of
the AN/ARC-5. The manual date is 15DEC54, so it must be about the last
manual ever issued on this gear. It's more than 300 pages long and Phil
has done a magnificent job of scanning the ENTIRE manual and putting it
in .pdf format on the CD-ROM. If you have double-side print capability,
you can almost exactly duplicate the original manual from the .pdf file.

In addition to the AN/ARC-5 file, he's got the USN maintenance manual
for the AN/ART-13 (NAVWEPS 16-30ART13-5, 26JAN54, 250+ pages), AN/ARR-41
(-501, -502, and partial -503 manuals), AN/SRR-11, 12, 13, 13A manual
(450+ plages), BC-375, all three major variations of the BC-348, TM
11-310 ground radio set schematics, three volumes of surplus conversion
manuals, index of surplus conversion articles, surplus schematics book,
T-368 and T-195 and BC-610 manuals, and a bunch more manuals.

Phil's price is an overwhelming $10 post-paid!

It's worth more than that by far even it it only had *one* of the above
mentioned manuals on it. Highly recommended! I'm not associated with
Phil in any way other than as a customer.

As Mike Hanz mentioned, the MT-6 is not shown in any AN/ARC-5 manual
that I know of, nor is it shown on the overall schematic of the AN/ARR-2
system. MT-7 or -7A show up instead. Perhaps someone meant MT-63, -65,
or -67 for the 2-, 3-, and 4-receiver racks and the second number got
dropped.

The AN/ARC-5 manual mentioned above has some interesting AN/ARC-5
configurations shown, including use with the ARB, the AN/ART-13, and the
AN/ARC-4 (and -1).
