I have been following the discussion about converting this CB antenna to 10
meters as I have a CB ground plane too.
I want to thank KD5KIZ
for the idea of cutting the antenna for 17 meters. (-; . Seriously, I have
been watching band openings for 17 and it's much more often than I
thought. It is also more popular than I expected.
There are several ways to lengthen
An antenna and I welcome any comments on the new direction my CB ground
plane will take.
To be truthful I am looking at a remote variable coil at the feed of the
antenna so it can cover a range of bands. I wonder at the possibilitys and
welcome your comments.
Sincerely,
Nels
