[Antennas] Support Mast for Carolina Windom

I am planning to put up a RadioWorks Carolina Windom 160 this spring.  I am going to mount it as an inverted Vee and I want to get the center support up at least 60 feet.  I don't have any trees in the yard, and I also want the center support to be plastic so that it won't interfere with the radiation pattern of the antenna.  Has anyone had any experience using 2" diameter schedule 80 pvc pipe for a support mast?  I am wondering if I used three 20 foot long sections and glued them together with standard couplings, if I would be able to make a hinged base and walk the mast into position without breaking it?  If I can get it vertical, I can guy it and it will be fine.  I'm just not sure if I can raise it without breaking it.

Any feedback and ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.
