First of all y'all don't laugh me off of the list.
I have searched the web for an answer to this question.
I have a Cushcraft 26B2 I recently acquired and I want to do something
unorthodox with it.
I don't have room on my mast to stack the 13B2s horizontally so I am
curious if I leave the phasing boom horizontal and turn one of the 13B2s
horizontal will the antennas act effectively as independant antennas while
still being connected through the phasing system? or maybe the question
should be will the antennas still work effectively while still being
co-phased or will they null each other out?
I know this is not going to offer the gain of having them either
horizontally or vertically co-phased, but will the system still work
reasonably well?
Some of you Antenna/NEC Gurus please give me your opinions.
I figure this is going out on a limb, but I am trying to avoid additional
runs of coax and switches.
Pending how many "Are you crazy?" responses I get I have a second part to
this question.
Thanks for your input.
