[Antennas] Homemade HD Antenna

It's robust once the signal is above a threshold and non-existent
below that (give or take a few dB)

There are many variables and some consumers who haven't yet converted
to digital will be in for surprises. I'm only about 10 miles from 3
of the Seattle towers and if it weren't for trees, I could see them
from my roof. Reception of one of those stations is very critical as
to where I locate the antenna. A few feet makes a difference and I
have tried both a 4-bay bow tie and a UHF/VHF antenna with a corner
reflector for UHF, as well as different receivers/tuners. The
location where things are good for that station isn't so hot for some
of the others. Fortunately I can get that one via Directv so I
picked a location which was conventient and worked satisfactorily for
most of the other stations. Hills are a factor for a few stations
which I have given up on. Maybe I'll try again after some of them
change frequency in June (hopefully it won't get postponed again).
