I would never say that digital broadcast TV is robust...in fact, in my case, I would say it sucks

At about 60 miles to the broadcast sites, I get fairly good analog signal on all the 'local' stations

As soon as I switch to the DTV converter, I loose about a third of the stations completely and 
another third are 50-50 at best.........not good at all in my book

Must admit that I do get several new 'channels'....too bad they are nothing that I will ever want 
to watch
