[Antennas] Attaching antenna pole to house

Hi
Well, I finally did it I bought an antenna pole. Life is good. Then since I am blind I climbed the short latter and took a look at where I might attach the pole to the eve of the house. Good news I can reach the edge of the house. Bad news the eve is boxed in. My intention was to attach the pole to the end of a rafter sticking out from the under side of the eve with the metal plumbers tape/hanger iron. This appears to be an unlikely solution since there are no exposed rafter ends. Any ideas on how I should proceed next? I don't think my land lord is going for the idea of me tearing apart his eves. Not that the idea is practical any way. Any thoughts are appreciated.

God bless,
Mark
