[Antennas] MFJ Quad band antenna

Anyone ever taken a MFJ apart?? I bought one of the Quadband 6-UHF antennas
and with a change of radials, I got the SWR down on all bands, EXCEPT
UHF.....it hits min at 432.000....but in the FM segment, forget it!!
(3-5:1!)....SO I want to take it apart and MAYBE see if I can get the UHF
tuned to the FM section....anyone ever done that with a sealed fiberglass??
Looks like wax or something at the base....perhaps glue? I don't want to
destroy it if I can avoid it....(so far 6 and 2 seems to work ok....havent
had a chance to check 220 yet)....want to use it as remote base antenna...
