[Antennas] NMO Covert Antenna

Larsen has a simple NMO whip which can be cut to size.  I believe the  
model you want is NMO-Q.  If you cut it to 19 in., it will be 1/4  
wave on 144 MHz.  It will be 3/4 wave on 440 and should work fairly  
well there also.  I used one for both bands several years ago.

How far apart are the two antennas (work and ham)?  There are a lot  
of installations which have several antennas less than two feet apart.
