Re(2): [Antennas] efficient antenna tuning

Over the years I have seen schemes published in magazines for switching a
cap in or out, or selecting one of two taps on an inductor, for "antenna
tuning".

A person can use certain types of relays for this and maintain lo-loss.

Can even run the DC coil volts for the relay up the coax in a lo-loss
fashion!

So, if you are a tinkerer this may be the way to go.

Another way to go is to increase the diameter of the lower vertical member
of the BugCatcher slightly, for, increasing the diameter will increase
bandwidth, but it will be at the expense of a bit lower Q and result in a
subsequent small drop in antenna efficiency.
