[Antennas] "Best mobile antenna"

Permit me my 'nickel's worth'...

I've been doing mobile for about 2 years now...using an ICOM 706M2G...100 
watts out....going to a Hustler 20 M resonator on top of an 4' +/- aluminum 
stick.

Figure I radiate 1 watt due to its low efficiency.

For the most part...if I can hear it...I can work it...work DX routinely.

One time, I QSO'd with a station in France...he was using 500 watts..told him 
this fact...he dropped right down to 1 watt too....he continued to work the 
US.

I've come to the conclusion - major factor: propagation - propagation - 
propagation.
