Hi,
I received so many replies to the message that I posted concerning the
"Ringo Type antenna" that I'm choosing to answer it here.
I'm "fired up" enough now that I'm going to try to get an old crystal
controlled CB, hack it up and home-brew a 10M beacon TX (Just what we need,
another beacon ;-) I figure it'll be easier and cheaper to modify an Xtal
controlled unit than to modify a 40Chan PLL unit. I'll put it on a coax
switch so I can switch the antenna to the TS-430 if I wish to use it for
QSO's.
Perhaps KO6BB/B will be on the air by the spring "openings" <grin>. I'll
also need to get/build a keyer first (I may try to use my old NEC laptop for
that task).
