Lessee... I haven't posted to the reflector in ages and figured I'd  
join in on this clam bake...

I have some 2 pair and some single pair audio cable with Beldfoil 
(shield), I think that's how Belden refers to the foil shield in  
their braid/foil shielded 75 ohm cable line as well.  In the generic  
twisted pair audio cable, the foil is in contact with the untinned  
"drain"/common/shield/ground.  In the coax, the foil is on the  
outside of the inner conductor's insulation with the braid over that.

If you've ever put any RG-59 tv connectors on, most likely you've  
seen a foil shield; normal cable *does* have a foil shield, Belden  
has Beldfoil..

Just a Belden brand name for their 100% foil shield or what have you.
