[Antennas] recommendations for short low dipole

You might want to try the tough system of having a receiving antenna
as well as a transmitting antenna. The bug catcher is probably
mounted vertically, which I am told receives all the man made stuff,
including those fancy proximity lamp turner on-ner which tends to
radiate a lot of noise. Try looking at a loop receiving antenna. If you
like the idea build one, place it near to your window.

A swedish ham had some good ideas for small antennas. Also, look
at 'Cliff dwellers' The place for apartment antennas.
