[Antennas] how to mount mobile antennas

Hi
    My sister wants to mount a 5/8 wave 2 meter antenna and a 6 foot out 
backer on her 2005 trailblazer. Currently these antennas have mag mounts. 
Does any one have experience on the best way to mount antennas on this type 
of vehicle?
