It sounds exactly like one I have used for 2M only...I think that's the
only band it was set for...but maybe 440, too, I don't remember...

Been using it for many years. I think it was called a "Hot Rod". Thertte's
some logo printed on the heat shrink, but no lettering at all...it's
pretty worn off....

Works fine for me but have not made any comparison tests because I bought
it to replace the lost rubber ducky for my IC-22-TH.
